Artists Speak

If you are interested in exchanging links with HalSwanson.com, please go to the following page: Link Exchange.

This Page Is Under Construction ..and for now the links are being added without any specific format. Any suggestions or ideas for additional links is appreciated. I write and edit on-line ..it’s like sitting on stage with the hot lights beating on me. Initally, you’ll see fragments of sentences and a few mis-spelled words, but it will be shaped and formed like a piece of clay into something of meaning and benefit. ..thank you for your interest.

The arts offer badly needed therapy! ..they are usually less expensive than doctors and healthier than pills. The next time you are stressed out take a trip to a local gallery or two. Look around, take your time, take a deep breath, relax and enjoy what your seeing and hearing (this is probably a rare oasis ..enjoy it), and if you find something that moves you ..buy it, take it home, enjoy it and be grateful you found it. You now have years of stress reduction therapy right in front of you ..a major bargin at any price! If people would only slow their pace down a little bit, they could find or renew a tremendous enjoyment in the arts and it would make them healthier for it.

I remember being lost in a vast desert for years, going in one direction and then another only to realize I must go back the way I came, ..I must return to the lush landscape of my creative mind where the connection with the gods is cherished. ..and I am almost home. Thank you.

The world of industry and governments have tried their designs at utopia, but they have created imbalances in their societies and in nature, and with almost 6.5 billion people on Earth, perhaps it’s time to hear from the quiet creative forces of humanity ..from the artists. I am not saying they have the answers, but the artists’ contribution should be valued no less than the gears of industry or the hammers of government.

The objective of this page is to display the works of contemporary artists who speak their voice from their heart, wherever in the world they live, who have successed in communicating their vision to an appreciating audience. ..more and better to come.
